Field Notes

Notes:

Not such a clear photo, sorry...
I saw so many of these moths in the dark, that after a while I stopped photographing them as I thought they were the same species. Now on the computer, I see that they all have different markings.

what a great team! Thanks Jacob and bayucca...
Erebidae, Arctiinae, Arctiini, Ctenuchiina, Loxophlebia flavipicta. http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxon=Loxophlebia%20flavipicta I just prepared for ID, but you were quickier...
Good job, Jacob, ID confirmed.
Not Cosmosoma, but a closely related Loxophlebia, it looks most like the variable L. flavipicta: http://janzen.sas.upenn.edu/caterpillars/dblinks/searchplay5adult.lasso
