Field Notes

Description:

Very fast flying moth! The thorax was olive in color dorsally and pale yellow ventrally. Their abdomens are dark burgundy dorsally and ventrally with light olive/dark golden patches dorsally. Wings are mostly clear with reddish brown terminal borders.

Habitat:

I spotted this moth in a large, open meadow. It was particularly fond of the wild bergamot.
