Bayucca and Dave Really appreciated.Thank you Guys.name changed
OK, I am happy for any little light we got for these Amata sp. ;-)
Ha! - along side or next to, agreeing. Sorry for the confusion :) Dave
What do you mean by "against" cyssea??
I have got this link against cyssea in my records, the same website: http://www.indianaturewatch.net/displayimage.php?id=104441 I must have found it after my last post. Amata needs a dedicated website, like Delias has. Dave
I am pretty sure this is Amata cyssea. Here are some more pictures. Please, read the whole comments, you will find there a lot of trustable IDs. I was just wondering how many of them I IDed myself, so it is always tricky to ID something based on a ID you did yourself ;-)..., specially when I once told I would not ID any Amata sp., since there were not many reliable ID around. In the meanwhile I am a little bit more confident... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/16232129 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/35965012 http://www.indianaturewatch.net/displayimage.php?id=96910 ID by Peter Smetacek! Syntomoides imaon looks like this (trustable ID by John Horstman, also on PN!): http://www.flickr.com/photos/itchydogimages/7224439292/
@ Adarsha and Dave # I think Dave is right.i'm not an expert though.please check the link http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/16232129
There are an overwhelming number of images that match this to Amata cyssea. BUT, I cannot find a single reliable reference to confirm. Dave
