Judy Graziano: A: Our guide, a native of the Amazon basin, advised that as long as we had no open sores on our hands through which the frog's poison, curare, could enter, it was okay to hold it. As with most all in life, I am sure that there was some risk in doing even that.

My closest guess would be Allobates sp., might be Allobates insperatus?? I will try to get closer...
