Description:

This is a beautiful fish with sharp teeth, approximately seven inches in length.

Habitat:

Amazon River and its tributaries.

Notes:

My fishing guide, Raul from Explorama, advised that this specimen is called a "tanton." However, I have as yet been able to specifically identify it after having done some research online.
