Description:

While adult moths are harmless, the larvae stings are itchy. The larvae are polyphagous or considered agricultural pests. Adult moths aren’t categorised as pests. The larvae feed on the leaves of mango saplings, coconut saplings and a host of monocotyledonous flora.

Habitat:

These slug moth nettle caterpillars are devouring the leaves of my mango saplings.
