Description:

Cottonmouths are highly variable; some can be solid brown like this guy or have lots of banding with patterning. The belly is likely always patterned, and there is always a chocolate eye stripe.

Habitat:

Found on the road after a rain right near a swamp.

Thanks beaker98! And Fyn, he was probably about 2 ft or so. Not too big, but definitely several years old at least.
