Although this moth is declining in numbers due to its sensitivity to pollutants and pesticides, this moth is not reviewed by the IUCN Red List, which determines whether species are endangered or not.
A really interesting moth. Also it is now considered an endangered species due to kill offs by pollutants & pesticides
Looks like a male I saw in NY missing the exact tail part
