Description:

15mm/.5inch total wingspan... brown/gold with yellow/orange splotches. Comes to rest with wings fully open.

Habitat:

Grasses... gardens where members of mint family (including catnip) are found.

Notes:

Pretty little moth, easily overlooked. Full taxonomy:
