Description:

Belongs to the family Syrphidae. Also known as a Syrphid Fly. I was unable to identify the genus and species. Any help would be appreciated.

Habitat:

Shore of a man-made lake. Pyamtuning Lake, Andover OH, Ashtabula County, USA.
