Pluteus lutescens
Pluteus lutescens
-37.8922, 145.322
Field Notes
Description:
About 50mm tall. Growing from a large old eucalyptus log. Very thin cap (almost see-through)
Habitat:
In a local state park forest.
Notes:
"Since most of the other brown-capped, yellow-stemmed species are imperfectly recorded in Pluteus literature, I recommend treating almost any tiny Pluteus meeting this description as Pluteus lutescens, a well documented and well established species." - Michael Kuo
http://www.mushroomexpert.com/pluteus_lutescens.html
http://bie.ala.org.au/species/PLUTEUS+LUTESCENS#
