Field Notes

Description:

Large brown moth, 3 cm in length, with a pine bark pattern on the wings.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters. The second two pictures were taken on 3 Aug 2013 in the same place. The 4th picture was taken on 20 February 2014 in the same place. The 5th picture was taken on 30 Jun 2014 in the same place.
