Field Notes

Description:

Cactus is approx 2' high and 2.5' wide near top. Grows in shrubby/tee-like formation. Needles are approx1.5" long. did not see any that grew higher than 3'.

Habitat:

Red rock desert. Grows in red sand. Very arid.

Notes:

Thought maybe it could be Cylindropuntia bigelovii or Cylindropuntia echinocarpa. Not really sure.
