Description:

The sensitive fern is a large-sized deciduous perennial fern in the genus Onoclea. It can grow to 3 ft in height. The leaves are deeply cut into long lobes which almost reach the stem.

Habitat:

Spotted growing next to the Cossatot River in southwestern Arkansas (see pic 3).
