Field Notes

Description:

Soft, watery, white, hairy to smooth, (this one was smooth) stalkless cap with whitish pores. Cap 3/8" to 4" wide, flat to slightly convex, semicircular. Somewhat spongy.

Habitat:

These were growing on a live oak tree by the large outdoor fire pit in Cushing Mem. Park in Canyon, Ga 30114.
Range is throughout North America.

Notes:

This appeared to bruise clear/white.
