Adjacent to hardwood forest riparian. Foraging on asters on gravelly shoreline of the Willamette River, near the confluence of the Rickreall River, Eola, Oregon.

Too me this matches a Fiery Skipper but on BAMONA doesn't show any in Oregon. The next closest would be the Woodland Skipper. Hylephila phyleus. If I were you I would send that image to BAMONA and see what they say.
