Field Notes

Description:

many small 1 to 1 1/2 inch mushrooms growing clustered on dead wood. caps tan-brown, lighter at margin, slight umbo. Gills with a greenish tinge. stem fibrous.

Habitat:

from dead wood in Prospect Park Brooklyn

Notes:

Notice the purple brown "volunteer" spore print on the cap at the left in the picture.
