Field Notes

Description:

Small herb with flat leaves, soft green stem. Tiny blue flowers.

Habitat:

Grassy verge. Usually considered a weed.

Notes:

Also called known as the Benghal dayflower, Tropical spiderwort, or Wandering Jew. I remember seeing this plant growing wild inside a ditch when we went on a Botany field trip during my graduation days. Good to see it is still around; weed or not.
