Description:
A species in the Chrysomelidae family, subfamily Chrysomelinae. Collectively they are known as "Leaf beetles". This species is distinguished by the "U" shape on the centre of their pronotum. They are generally grey-brown with lighter tessalation, though the colour can vary slightly.
Habitat:
Dry sclerophyll bushland. Associated with dead wood or old trees. Eucalyptus amygdalina, E. fastigiata, E. rodwayi, and E. tenuiramis are all host-plants.
Notes:
This beetle is on a piece of chicken wire fencing.
