You're welcome! I'm glad you have an ID, and we learned about this guy. It is able to use the rostrum to capture the prey and suck It, and also to get sap from leaves.
@Sckel: Thank you for your help of description of brown marmorated stink bug. I also checked Google and I think this should called "spined soldier bug" (Podisus maculiventris). Actually this website had exactly the same picture of the bug I have posted. Thank you so much again. http://www.omafra.gov.on.ca/IPM/english/grapes/beneficials/gallery/stink-bugs.html
Hi, Riekos, I think this is not Halyomorpha halys, the links say Halyomorpha halys has a white spot on the antennae and feed on fruit and sap of leaves. I think is a predatory stink bug. although It looks a phytophagous bug http://insects.about.com/od/truebugs/p/Hhalys.htm
Thank you very much for your kind comment Maria dB. Yes, I found this early in the morning in my place. Since you mentioned about my second picture, I moved it to the first :-)
Great series - especially like the second photo. Was this in your garden, Rieko?
