Leaf cutter ants

These ants were seen, as they crossed our trail through the jungle when hiking from ACTS to the Canopy Walkway entrance point. There were literally hundreds making their way across the trail, many carrying leaf sections far bigger than any of the ants. It certainly reinforced the old adage that: "There is no 'I' in team."
