Field Notes

Description:

Delicate looking mushroom, not more than 5 cm tall; caps some 1,( to 2cm in diameter, conical in shape and with moist surface. Predominantly pale brown in color; stem a bit darker. Growing in small clusters on a decaying log.

Habitat:

Foothills of Jura mountain range; wooded area of local town park, growing on a dead and decaying log.
