White-speck moth

This moth was resting in some leaf litter, after it rained. The adults feed on the nectar of various types of flowers and will eat ripe or decaying fruit. But the Larvae feed on a variety of Graminae (weedy grasses) and other crops such as eggplant, or corn. This moth has brown fore wings, with one white dot on each wing, and the hind wings have a little lighter color of brown.
