Field Notes
Description:
Around 12mm in length. Iridescent green/yellow, with three short dark lines on thorax. The semi-translucent extension of elytra and protonum covers the head and gives the beetle an oval shape.
Habitat:
Found in 'El Cimatario' national park, just outside of Querétaro. The area is semi-arid, with lots of acacia and cacti.
