Description:
Eurasian collared doves are native to Europe and Asia and have been introduced in North America. There is a fairly large population in this area of South Florida. This looks to be a mating pair.
Habitat:
Along an inland fresh-water canal in western Boca Raton, FL
Notes:
These birds are usually seen in pairs and remain loyal to their mates.
