The Great Egret is a large type of heron, commonly known as the Great White Heron or common egret. Its wingspan ranges from 52-67 in. wide. Notable features include a long yellow bill, long neck, black legs, and an entirely white body.

Habitat:

This egret is found in temperate and tropical zones in the world. It can be seen in shallow bodies of water, such as bayous and lakes, or in drier habitats.
