Hm Jemma, I don't really know. I haven't spent that much time in Kerala. But I think Costa Rica is a place all it's own. So much diversity of life there.

Hi Pam. This moth must have a range from Mexico through Costa Rica (at least), we both seem to have the same one, even so far apart. San Cristobal is also surrounded by Oak-Pine Cloud Forest. (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/32550082/fullscreen).
