Description:

One of the most common heels in North America. Rich brown above with pale, streaked belly. Reddish tail.

Habitat:

Open country. Edges of fields.

Notes:

Saw this one perched on a tall lamp post in the parking lot of my bank. Noticed it due to the harassment it was getting from the crows!
