Field Notes

Description:

Black slug only about an inch long fully stretched out.

Habitat:

Currently, in a broken terra cotta pot in the shade of an open barn. Often seen in the strawberries digging into them.

Notes:

Appears to be feeding on the sand residue inside pot.

I looked up garden slug, which is what I've always heard them called but I don't know what the little ones are supposed to look like! Also, I uploaded this spotting through the phone app. Only problems I'm having with it is that I can't grab a photo from my gallery without it crashing and I put this in Invertebrate and it was placed in Arthropod. Argh.
