Description:

Don't be fooled--it may be cute, but it's actually an a prolific crop pest that host on a very wide variety of species.

Habitat:

In low vegetation near the Arkansas River at dusk.

[Originally mistaken for Brown Marmorated Stink Bug.]

I believe you actually have a native stink bug here. Notice the coloration on the legs and antennae compared to the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug. Your bug has yellow legs with speckling, Brown Marmorated has brown legs. Brown Marmorated also has dark antennae with the distinctive white bands, which yours does not. :-) https://bugguide.net/node/view/1489966
