Description:

Plenty of this is found in our beaches in Surigao. This photo is taken in summer 2014 in Mabua Bay in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. Our beach where I saw this is fronting the Pacific Ocean.

Coral reef

Notes:

This sea urchin is one of the many sea urchins in Tandag beach. They can be found mainly near sea grass/coral reefs when it is low tide. Our beach where I saw this is fronting the Pacific Ocean.
