Hi bayucca, "Eucalyptus leaf beetle" is a general name for many different species of beetles, whose larvae feed on eucalyptus leaves. As far as I can tell, there is no common name for this individual species.

Thanks for starting the mission, Martin. It's prompted me to go back add to my leaf beetle entries, as they were among my very first NOAH spottings. Back then, there was only one photo allowed, and fewer text fields. So now I'm adding photos and links, etc.
Thanks for adding this to the leaf beetle mission. It is a spectacular beetle.
I've made a mission called http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8198146. I'd be pleased if you would like to add this spotting.
