Description:
Tomentose burying beetle with phoretic mite hitchhikers.
Notes:
At first I thought this was a bee, but it is in fact a bee mimic beetle. It’s mite friends will populate the next carcass it finds, creating a more hospitable environment for the burying beetle’s larvae.
