Habitat:

Tobacco Hornworm

Manduca sexta

Comments (2)

This is a Tobacco Hornworm not a Tomato Hornworm. Tobacco has 7 white stripes down the side (seen in the picture) and the Tomato Hornworm has 8 V-shaped markings.
So which do you like more ... Nice juicy tomatoes or a pretty sphinx moth? I'm afraid it's one or the other . Or if you don't like your neighbors and if they have a tomato plant, you can move the hornworm next door..... (Oh my bad...). :P
