Description:

Medium sized shorebird foraging alone at low tide in the shallows of a salt marsh.

Habitat:

Shallow salt marsh at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, near the coast of the Delaware Bay.

The wingtips of the similar Lesser Yellowlegs do not reach the end of the tail.
