Description:

There are about 35 species of mosquitoes and I think my family met every one. This mosquito was trying to go through my daughters layers of shirts but was unsuccessful. It's gray and brown with dark stripes on the abdomen.

Habitat:

Mixed forest at Denali National Park and Preserve
