Description:
Long-legged, female fly with bronze body. The thorax has black stripes, one on each side and a short one down the middle. Wings are smoky and clear of markings. "Lognimanus means long hands. The male has very long fore tarsi."
Habitat:
Unknown plant along river. "Widespread boreal and transition (Alaska to New Hampshire south to Colorado and Virginia)"
