Species ID Suggestions

Fer-de-Lance or Labarria

Bothrops atrox

The eyes sitting high in the head, creating an elevation of the forehead is typical of Bothrops snakes, as well as the pointed, slightly upward nose (bushmasters have a havier, more round heads, with eyes lower in the head). I am not an specialist, you know, but I'd bet it is a Fer-de-lance.
