Field Notes

Description:

The upper parts are blue-metallic, but depending on the light incidence appear black. The wings and tail are black, including the bottoms. The color division is very clear. There are white spots on dark areas or dark spots on the white part. It measures about 13 cm.

Habitat:

It is found throughout Brazil except in urban areas in the Amazon.
