It is also called a Turtle Dove, American Mourning Dove, or Rain Dove. It is one of the most abundant and widespread dove in the U.S. They have the ability of sustaining populations.

Habitat:

In mainly warm areas. Since one pair can raise up to 6 broods in a year.
