Field Notes

Description:

This spotting is to show the marvelous way of the caper flowers' unpacking process, especially how the pistil and stamens are unfold.
It was the first time for me to see that, even though I know the plant and gather the buds that are perfect for the Greek salad (after a brief treatment with coarse salt to remove the bitterness).

Habitat:

It grows on limestone rocks and stone walls
