Description:

Horse crabs mating on the Delaware Bay. They come to the shore to mate and lay their eggs on the high tides and full moon of May and June.

This was taken on the Delaware Bay. I did tag the location. They come in to mate during the high tide and full moons of May and June. The picture shows several males surrounding a much larger female crab.
