Description:

A floração é de Março a Julho, e as flores desenvolvem inflorescência panícula, cimosa escorpióide. Corola azul, tornando-se rosada com tons de púrpura, afunilada, gamopétala com 5 lóbulos, e 5 estames. Cálice coberto de pêlos que lhe dá um aspecto hirsuto. Estigma bífido, ovário súpero com 4 lóbulos.

Habitat:

Terras cultivadas, margens dos caminhos e areias, desde muito húmidos a secos.
