Description:

White to pink plant about 1 foot tall. This plant does "not contain chlorophyll; they are myco-heterotrophs, getting their food through parasitism upon fungi rather than photosynthesis. "

Habitat:

Western Hemlock and Sitka Spruce old growth forest.
