Species ID Suggestions

@Mark -- Thank you for these tips, I usually try to photograph the undersides too, but this particular specimen was at a place I couldn't reach to. The biggest one was almost the size of my palm. Will read up on the leads you gave me.
Fungi ID most often needs description and underneath shots (and that might still not be enough). The gills or pores and stipe often have more to say about an identity than the top shots. Did it have a volva? Scaly stipe? Gill colour? Spore colour? Size is also very important. This one seems to have a ring. You could look at Lepiota or Macrolepiota species (depending on size?). Almost definitely an Agaric of some sort.
