Description:
Funnel Weavers are seen most easily after a rain or morning dew makes their webs on the laws conspicuous. The spider hides at the narrow end of a funnel that spreads out across the grass. On feeling the vibration of an insect crossing the web the spider dashes out, bits the insect, and carries it back to the funnel. A few made use of leaves in their funnel.
