Thank you thaptor, these beetles are so variable. Tough group to work with.
About 1/3 of the MEX representation already sorted on NaturaLista: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=6793&subview=grid&taxon_id=84810&view=species I think, yours is a variation of C. diversa - but I'm not sure of it.
Nice beetle. Love the pattern
Welcome to the club! Neither me, checked all my resources, but no match, tons of similar ones.
Thank you bayucca. Wow. I just don't know which genus of the two you gave me. I looked all through them both and couldn't find a match.
Should be a Calligrapha sp. or Zygogramma sp.. There were some renaming. I can't immaging another genus, but I did not found a reasonable match for yours.
What an awesome beetle! I love the pattern. Very nice photos!
