Cannot find one online that looks exactly like this. It may be a juvenile and not have changed to primary or common color yet...I'm not sure.

Orthetrum sabina

Eastern Pondhawk

This is either a young male or a female. Orthetrum sabina is only found from southeastern Europe and North Africa to Japan and south to Australia.
Thanks Jason. I'll look this one up and compare. I also have a laminated fold out of dragonfly species that I picked up at a local natural science museum here near Dallas called the Heard Museum. Probably does not have all of them on it, but I check that, too for the Marsh Hawk. Do you study these in partciular? Thanks again! Andy
