Description:

Anolis, or anoles, is a genus of iguanian (anole) lizards belonging to the family Dactyloidae.

Habitat:

Terrace of our cabin, near Arenal Volcano.

Most geckos have toe pads, so I think this is an anole. Also, the face looks very anole-like to me. I would look at Family Polychrotidae on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_reptiles_of_Costa_Rica
