Description:

One of the most beautiful of the Adelpha Sisters. The third picture is of one that had been hit by a car on the highway showing the underside of the wings. Family Nymphalidae.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas at about 865 meters elevation.
